The egg salad is out of this world! It's so different than a normal egg salad...it was spectacular. I can't tell you what's in it (eggs? tarragon? tumeric? mayo?) but I can tell you it's really good!

OH WOW. THE FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH. I'm taking a break from my food to post this review because HOLY MOLY IT IS SO SO GOOD. I also got the prosciutto/ mozzarella sandwich. It's good, but it can't hold a flame to the fried chicken. This was my first time on the deli side and it is VERY cute. I'll be coming back to pick up some of their homemade sauces, jellies and pasta.

This legendary place never lets me down. Love everything they have. I usually get Meatballs on the side just to have some along with my sandwhich. Their deli is still open for take out. Go right now!

A bit expensive but the sandwiches were fantastic. My favorite was the sicilian tuna sandwich. Probably the best tuna sandwich I've ever had. The flavor was so light and fresh and such a nice change from the typical mayo. They do need to be better about refilling the water pitcher, providing silverware etc. but overall the wonderful food made up for this. Definitely go check this place out ASAP.

The Deli at Little Dom's is my favorite way to start the morning here in Los Feliz. The Deli serves the best range of coffee and pastries in this neck of the hills, and I can relax with my dog over the morning paper.

For the last several months, I knew something special was brewing inside this tiny space with Italian-language newspaper covering its windows. It wasn't going to be some sexy little Sophia Loren number though. Something more practical, homely. More like Al from 'Happy Days'? Turns out, the sweet little deli is the equivalent of an old school, portly, humble man wrapped in a fresh white apron, with nimble fingers and smiling eyes. And one with great musical taste, I might add. I love the simple 1940-50's interior with vintage deli case, the food menu scrawled on the glass, the green checkered floor, the nice folks behind the counter. The self-serve carafes filled with piping hot Groundwork coffee give me no reason to show my face at Coffee Bean ever again, unless I've got a hankering for Slushy Sugarbomb Surprise. Or to see that old guy who gnaws on raw broccoli heads in the patio. Anyway, the $2 real deal coffee has cured me from that shit. Order it 'for here' and you'll be presented with your own personal magic red coffeepot to pour as you wish. Weee! Greedy bastard. There is a really good/bad habit on the horizon though: Nutella Panino ($4). Damn this hot-pressed sandwich oozing with luscious Nutella and mascarpone on rustic bread: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/k0Ijaxtbsx3qyIcbGWshDQ?select=2lShjwujtyeYVjTsMksG8A Damn it for sneaking into our bellies every week this month. Its savory cousin, the Rosemary Ham and Fontina Panino ($7.95), is equally delicious, especially after the counter lady recommended adding a fried egg in it. It's a pretty perfect Saturday morning sitting on a quiet sidewalk, drinking endless coffee, inhaling toasted yummies, with two pugs witnessing my unabashed gluttony. Sorry guys, no sharing. No way, no how.
